Amert Construction started with one employee and a one-bag mixer in 1947, when Henry Amert and his sole employee built his first house in Madison, SD. He and his wife Arleen ran the business for nearly 40 years, while raising two daughters who chose academic careers and two sons who chose to work with Amert Construction. In 1955, Amert became a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of South Dakota and a member of the National AGC. By 1958 the company had moved away from single family residential to specialize in commercial construction. In 1985 his sons, Dick and Don, took over the business. Amert Construction has built great relationships with its customers over the years which has led to many repeat projects for satisfied customers. The construction process requires skilled long-term employees, the right equipment, years of experience and solid financial standing, all of which the company brings to the table.
Amert Construction's employees are valued and are offered a full benefit package. We have a low turn-over rate and the employees have extensive knowledge of the construction industry and processes. Employees and management work together to provide you a rewarding building experience. Let Amert Construction help you transform your building concept into reality.
Amert Construction is committed to offering quality services and building long-lasting relationships. In return, growing and sustaining these relationships help Amert Construction improve and contribute to our community.
